Forms and submissions

Contact forms and custom forms, where messages land, and how they're protected.

Two kinds of forms collect messages from your visitors: the contact section most sites are generated with, and custom forms you design yourself.

Custom forms

Add a form section to any page and give it the fields you need — text, email, phone, choice lists, checkboxes, a message box. Mark fields required as needed. Visitors fill it in like any normal form; there's nothing for them to install and nothing that slows the page down.

Where submissions go

Every submission lands in the editor's Forms tab, grouped by form, with search and paging once the list grows. From there you can:

  • read and delete submissions,
  • export a form's submissions as CSV for a spreadsheet or CRM,
  • see what was flagged as spam.

Submissions also show up as conversation threads in the Inbox tab, so you can reply directly — replies go out from your own domain once your sending domain is verified (see Newsletter and email).

Want an email notification per submission? Choose the recipients in the editor's notification settings. You can also forward submissions to another app with a webhook (an admin sets that up under Integrations).

Protection built in

  • Submissions are encrypted at rest, and visitor IP addresses are anonymized.
  • A hidden trap field quietly discards most bots, and rate limits blunt floods.
  • If your plan's monthly lead quota fills up, submissions are never thrown away — they're stored and flagged, notifications pause, and a banner suggests the next plan up.
