Export your site — no lock-in

Download the published site as plain HTML and host it anywhere; what keeps working and what stops.

Your site is yours. At any time, an admin can download the whole published site and host it anywhere.

Downloading

Settings → Export produces a zip — the published site as plain, fast HTML and CSS with your images included. Unzip it onto any static host (Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, an old-school web server) and it works. A README inside explains the handful of host settings worth copying, and your redirects come along in a ready-made rules file.

It's also a perfectly good backup: export after big milestones and keep the zip.

What keeps working

The export has no server behind it, so interactive features post back to the platform: contact and custom forms, newsletter signups, and checkout keep working on the exported copy — as long as your site still exists here. The cookie-consent banner ships as a tiny self-contained script.

What stops at the boundary

  • Editing — the export is a snapshot; to change it, edit here, re-publish, and export again.
  • The dashboard — analytics, form inboxes, order management and the audience list stay on the platform.
  • On-site search — the exported search page explains it needs the live site.
  • If the site here is ever deleted, the exported copy keeps rendering but its forms and checkout go quiet.

Leaving entirely

Publish the final version, export it, then remove your custom domain from Settings and point the domain's DNS at your new host. Only the site owner can delete the site itself. No exit fees, no requests to support — the export button is always there.
